So I'm fresh off the block here after finishing this book, and frankly, I adored it.
I thought that although it was a short read that I wished had have been longer, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I thought it was a very simplistic yet interesting plot. Nollaig, the main protaganist, finds herself pregnant and wanting to escape her alcholic dad, seeks refuge in a crypt in a chapel.
Her best friend Stephen, who has just been dumped by his boyfriend, goes there and helps her by bringing her food until she turns sixteen and she'll be allowed to keep her baby. But the vicar soon catches them and threatens to turn them in. However, not before Nollaig and Stephen discover one of his secrets and use it against him.
I love characters in this book. I thoight they were funny and friendly and relatable.
