I'm honestly so so so grateful for Department 51 of Easons for sending me an ARC copy of this book. Sarah Crossan is one of my favourite writers and I was counting down the days until it's original release date.
Now I have Brian Conaghan's Bombs here at home, but I've yet to read it. However, this book has made me want to read everything by him ASAP.
This book, in one word, was perfection. Honest to God, perfection.
I raced through this in 2 hours because it was SO BLOODY GOOD. As a writer myself, I think it's unfair how good these two are together. I think we should ban them from writing another book for at least five years.
Seriously. I fell in love with the badass Jess and the sweetheart Nicu within seconds. I wish I could read this for the first time again.
BTW, THE ENDING KILLED ME. I WAS CRYING FOR A GOOD HOUR.
Utterly amazing, and there's no doubt in my mind when I say that this is by far my favourite book of 2016.
